This will be initially using Google Classroom . Teachers will communicate with pupils via Google Classroom to set out expectations and to support parents with remote education.
We will use a variety of methods of continuing education which will include:
Work and Video links posted on Google Classroom
Google Meet live lessons and assemblies
Lessons will be set in all subjects.
During the Covid 19 epidemic the school made great efforts to ensure pupils continued to engage in their education and most pupils did engage. Laptops and paper based packs were provided where needed to ensure no child missed out on key learning.
Supporting your child at home
At William Barcroft Junior School , pupils are expected to read at least 3 times per week at home. This should be recorded in their reading record. Additionally, you child may be expected to learn phonics, multiplication tables and spellings at home.
