This week, Sunflowers and half of Magnolias have been working hard at the Into University Centre in Grimsby, enjoying an exciting week of learning and discovery. The children had the opportunity to find out more about university life, explore the wide range of courses available to them, and take part in their own seminars and learning activities. This week’s theme was World War II, giving the children the chance to develop their knowledge through engaging and hands-on experiences.
One of the highlights of the week was a visit to the Streetlife Museum in Hull, where the children explored what life was like for people living during the war. They enjoyed discovering more about the experiences of people at the time and bringing their classroom learning to life.
The final day included a visit to the University of Hull, where the children were given a guided tour of the campus and proudly presented the work they had been working so hard on throughout the week.
The week finished with a wonderful mini graduation ceremony, celebrating all of the children’s achievements. A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who travelled to join us for this special event. We are incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved!
