10 lucky girls from Year 3/4 participated in a football festival, which was aimed at
engaging girls into playing football. The girls ventured to Clee Fields along with 19 other local schools
at an event, which hosted over 200 girls! The event had 10 different football drills, which helped the
girls improve basic skills in football. These involved drills such as: Queen of the Hill, shooting drills,
relay dribbling races, through the gates passing drills and mini 2v2 games. The girls were also
fortunate to be coached by the team of Grimsby Town Ladies. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the event
and everyone improved their footballing skills. Well done to everyone involved!
