As a reward for their participation in a local football tournament, the girls were given free tickets for the EFL League Two fixture between Grimsby Town and Fleetwood Town on the 22 nd February. They were also given a memorable opportunity to be flag bearers to welcome the two teams out onto the pitch prior to kick-off. Mr Dawes and Mrs Beeson attended the match also to support the girls. The girls were treated to a thrilling game as George McEachran scored a wonder strike to put Grimsby Town ahead in the first half! The visitors got themselves level courtesy of Ryan Grandon’s chip shot over Jordan Wright. Minutes after, Danny Rose scored the winner as he headed Grimsby back in front. We all enjoyed the game and here are some photos that Mrs Beeson had captured – you can tell we had a good time!
