Y3 had a fantastic trip to Brigg Heritage Centre, learning more about our Stone Age to Iron Age topic. We were able to see genuine artefacts from Prehistory, including a bronze spear head, Beaker pots and a Bronze Age boat! We experienced being archaeologists digging for buried historical treasures, grinding grain to make flour, using special tools to work stone and weaving our own cloth. We also made model roundhouses, ceremonial masks and iron age jewellery. What a busy and exciting day of time travelling!
