Lots of our Year 6 children attended our residential trip to Back2Bear. They spent three days in the woods, camping in tents and away from home comforts and technology!
When they arrived, they completed an orienteering competition in teams to help them find their way around the site. Following this, they were straight in the woods learning how to build their own fires in the wild.
After a night in the bell tents, they went on a 5 mile hike and even stopped off at the local pub for some chips on the way back. They then spent the afternoon and the following day completing activities: archery, axe throwing, shelter building, laser tag and gutter ball to name a few!
It was a great 3 days away and the children have made great memories with each other before they leave us to go to their secondary school.
