At William Barcroft we have a compulsory dress code. This consists of
- a red polo shirt
- official school jumper /cardigan with logo, or plain navy jumper/cardigan
- either a grey or black plain skirt/ trousers
- shoes should be sensible i.e. not heels or sling backs in black or grey
- please ensure that your child does not wear brightly coloured socks or tights
- year 6 pupils wear a white polo shirt and purple jumper/cardigan
PE Kit
P.E kit indoors consists of plain navy/black shorts and a red academy PE t-shirt.
P.E kit outdoor consists of black/navy joggers and black/navy zip up hooded jacket, red academy t-shirt and trainers.
Children who persistently do not bring a PE kit will be reminded of the importance of PE and, if necessary, a text, a phone call or note will be sent to their parents asking for their cooperation.
When children are swimming, their kit should be brought to school on the day swimming lessons take place and taken home afterwards. Goggles are not permitted unless on medical advice.
Children may wear their own clothes on their birthday.
Local uniform swaps and second hand uniform sales are promoted and communicated as they occur.
